New COO joins Live More Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. — Kelsey Reed is the new chief operating officer (COO) for Live More Ithaca, a real-estate development company dedicated to new luxury apartments in central Ithaca.

Reed brings a background of diverse experience to the role where she will oversee all new developments, implement daily operations, and set goals for the company’s performance and growth.

She purchased her first home by age 20, turning it into a rental property, before obtaining her master’s degree in higher-education administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Reed began working for resident and student life at the university. She went on to serve as assistant director of residence life and student engagement at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas, and as the director of residence life at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. Reed then moved into property management, working as portfolio property manager for HH Red Stone Properties, LLC, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Visum worked with executive search firm JK Executive Strategies to fill the position. Ithaca-based Visum is a real-estate investment company specializing in new construction and redevelopment of residential properties.
