ONEONTA, N.Y. — Moe’s Southwest Grill, a fast-casual restaurant franchise serving southwestern food, will open a new eatery in Oneonta on Feb. 27.
The restaurant will operate at 5001 Route 23 in the town of Oneonta, at the former site of the Neptune Diner in the Neptune Plaza.
Larry Wilson, franchisee of the Oneonta Moe’s Southwest Grill, owns several Moe’s restaurants throughout New York and Pennsylvania, according to a news release the franchisee issued Wednesday.
To mark its opening, Moe’s Southwest Grill will host three community pre-opening events on Feb. 25 and Feb. 26, the release stated.
Founded in 2000 in Atlanta, Moe’s Southwest Grill operates more than 500 restaurants in the U.S and abroad.
The restaurant chain is “best known” for its burritos, the release stated.
Atlanta–based FOCUS Brands Inc. is the franchisor and operator of Moe’s Southwest Grill.
