WHITESBORO, N.Y. — Area contractor and entrepreneur Ed DeSanctis will join New York Sash June 1 as the company’s CEO.
Based in Whitesboro, New York Sash (www.newyorksash.com) provides replacement windows, siding, and bath products.
DeSanctis has owned and operated DeSanctis Home Improvement for the past 16 years, providing residential remodeling services. He has a degree in mathematics from SUNY Albany and experience in technology, manufacturing, and sales.
“My commitment to high-quality work, building relationships, and providing a great overall experience for my customers are reflected in the goals at New York Sash,” DeSanctis said in a press release.
New York Sash owners Scot and Jill Hayes continue as owners of the company and will lead the company’s marketing efforts including through their local home-improvement TV show “CNY’s Open House” and through continued involvement in organizations, events, and activities in the area.

DeSanctis will lead New York Sash through a period of growth as the company has seen a surge in demand from local homeowners looking to invest in their homes. He will initially focus on product and installation processes that will continue to enhance the customer experience.
