New York State officials have released the guidelines for businesses to follow in reopening in phase two of the state’s restart from the coronavirus shutdown.

The guidance applies to these businesses:

  • All office-based jobs
  • Real-estate services
  • Retail – in-store shopping
  • Limited barbershop and hair-salon services

Companies are required to read the guidelines — which deal with social-distancing, use of PPE, and other safety measures during the reopen — and then complete and sign an online form.

The site also offers a business safety template plan, outlining how a company’s workplace will prevent the spread of COVID-19.
