NOCO hiring for about 50 open positions throughout Western and Central New York

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — NOCO, an energy company headquartered near Buffalo, announced it is now hiring about 50 additional employees across its Western and Central New York operations.

NOCO operates an office at 1300 Wolf St. in Syracuse.

In addition to NOCO, several positions are also available with Shanor Electric Supply in Orchard Park, an electrical distributor and lighting supplier that NOCO acquired earlier this year.

Open positions across the company currently include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians; commercial-fuel drivers; customer service; sales; and warehouse support in the greater Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse areas.

“With more than 320 employees, NOCO continues to grow our operations to meet the energy and sustainability needs of our customers from Tonawanda to Syracuse,” Melissa Fritz, assistant VP of human resources with NOCO, said in a release. “Over the past year, we have hired more than 100 new employees.”

NOCO says it offers a benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan. Full-time employees are also eligible for medical, dental, and vision-coverage options and company-paid life insurance and short-term disability.
