SENECA FALLS, N.Y. — Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls recently announced it has promoted Anne E. Killen to provost and VP of academic affairs.
Killen has been with Northeast College since 2017, when she joined as executive VP of academic affairs and chief academic officer. In that role, she oversaw day-to-day college operations in the division of academic affairs, according to her LinkedIn profile. She worked with the administrators of these areas, along with administrative staff in enrollment management, financial and administrative services, and institutional advancement, to build a team of senior administrators that work together with a coordinated view to fulfill the mission of the Northeast College of Health Sciences.
She has more than 25 years of experience working in the public and private sectors of management, higher-education administration, and supervision, the college said. Previously, Killen spent 16 years at Keuka College in the roles of associate VP of the Center for Professional Studies and assistant professor of management, as well as executive director of administration, curriculum and assessment before that, her LinkedIn page states.
Killen holds a master’s degree in adult education and a doctorate degree in management. She has also earned graduate certificates in human-resource development and professional training and is a graduate of the National Leadership Institute in Adelphi, Maryland.
“As Northeast moves toward the addition of new academic programs and overall growth, I’m confident that Dr. Killen’s strong vision and rich experience will continue to lead our College into a successful future,” Northeast College of Health Sciences President Michael Mestan said in a news release.
