John Robinson, managing partner and CEO of Glenmont, N.Y.–based Our Ability, will deliver the keynote address on Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m., according to the event’s website.

Robinson’s keynote address, “Overcoming Obstacles – Get Off Your Knees,” will “take the audience on a journey of self-discovery with stories of success and will showcase what it takes to overcome obstacles in life and business,” according to the release.

In his role at Our Ability, Robinson advocates for diversity inclusion and delivers personalized training for organizations. Born a congenital amputee, “his story demonstrates how people can overcome adversity and impact change with a positive mindset,” according to a Feb. 26 news release initially announcing his role as the keynote speaker.
