Oneida County announces possible public exposure to virus at area stores

UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County officials on Monday reported recent, possible public exposure to the coronavirus at area retailers including Price Rite Supermarket in Utica.

The details of the recent potential exposures are as follows:

The county also reported the following COVID-19 statistics:

  • 20 new virus cases (13 are nursing-home residents), 1,549 total
  • No new deaths, 90 total
  • 22 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County (19 at MVHS, 3 at Rome Memorial)
  • 5 are admitted in hospitals outside Oneida County
  • 13 hospitalized patients are from nursing homes (10 at MVHS, 3 at Rome Memorial)
  • 319 active positive cases
  • 1,140 positive cases have been resolved
  • 47,028 total tests have been conducted.
  • 45,479 total negative results
  • 342 people are under mandatory quarantine
  • 139 are under precautionary quarantine
  • 12,394 total have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine
