ORISKANY, N.Y. — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County recently launched the Oneida County Public Market’s new online ordering platform featuring a variety of products from local farmers and artisans.

The new site, oneidacountymarket.localfoodmarketplace.com, allows customers to preorder items from Oneida County Public Market vendors for easy pickup on Saturday at the market. Currently, winter-season markets are held every other Saturday through April 30 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Union Station in Utica.

The e-commerce online storefront is open for shopping the Monday after a market at 5 p.m. and closes the Thursday before a market at 5 p.m., giving people 11 days to shop before pick-up at the next market. Customers can opt to pick up their purchases at the e-commerce table inside the market or can add a note at checkout indicate they prefer curbside pickup.
