Oneida County reports 37 COVID-19 cases as of midday Sunday

UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County reported nine new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last day for a total of 37 as of noon on Sunday, March 29.

That’s according to a Sunday update posted on the Oneida County website.

Of the 37 cases, seven patients are hospitalized in Oneida County and one remains hospitalized outside of the county.

In addition, 530 total tests have been conducted in Oneida County, with 216 test results pending.

Oneida County also reports 277 total negative results since testing began, 253 people in mandatory quarantine, 205 people in precautionary quarantine, and 428 people have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine.

The county’s live update briefing will resume Monday at 3 p.m., per the online posting.
