Oneida County reports a 22nd COVID-19 death

On Sunday, Oneida County also reported 22 new positive infections, bringing the county’s total to 646. The county also noted that, “upon further investigation,” one positive case was removed from Saturday’s total.

Of the 646 positive cases, 23 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County and three are in hospitals outside the county.

The data also indicates Oneida County has 329 active positive cases and that 295 positive cases have been resolved (the infected people recovered).

In addition, health-care workers have conducted 4,604 tests, with 192 results pending and 3,766 negative results.

The county also reports 838 patients are under mandatory quarantine, 962 are under precautionary quarantine;, and 5,015 have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine, per Oneida County.
