Oneida County reports fourth COVID-19 death

UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Tuesday reported its fourth death from COVID-19, but provided no other details about the deceased.

The county also reported 13 new coronavirus infections, bringing the county’s total to 224. Of the 224 positive cases, 24 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County and nine are in hospitals outside the county.

The data also indicates that 53 positive cases have been resolved.

Health-care workers have conducted 1,526 coronavirus tests, with 167 results pending and 1,135 negative results.

The county also reports 391 patients are under mandatory quarantine, 453 are under precautionary quarantine, and 1,579 have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine.
