UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Saturday reported one new COVID-19 death, bringing its total to 21 since the pandemic started.
County officials did not hold a coronavirus briefing Saturday, but reported the following statistics, in addition to the death.
- 17 new positive coronavirus cases, raising the total to 625
- 21 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County
- 3 are admitted in hospitals outside Oneida County
- 320 active positive cases
- 284 people have recovered from the deadly bug
- 4,496 total tests have been conducted
- 203 test results are pending
- 3,668 total negative results
- 831 people are under mandatory quarantine
- 971 area under precautionary quarantine
- 4,842 total individuals have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine since the crisis began
The county did not have any new warnings about potential exposure to the virus at area businesses as it had in prior days.
