Oneida County reports three more deaths from COVID-19

UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County over the weekend reported three additional deaths from COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 14.

The county reported the three deaths on Saturday and none in its Sunday update. It provided no other details about the deceased individuals.

On Sunday, Oneida County reported 20 new virus infections, bringing the county’s total to 373. Of the 373 positive cases, 27 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County and three are in hospitals outside the county.

The county says 138 people have recovered from the virus, to date.

Health-care workers have conducted 2,691 tests, with 242 results pending and 2,076 negative results.

The county also reports 615 people are under mandatory quarantine, 457 are under precautionary quarantine, and 2,898 have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine.
