Oneida County reports two additional COVID-19 deaths, both “nursing home related”

Oneida County also reported 26 new positive infections, bringing the county’s total to 901. In its daily report, the county noted that “upon further investigation,” one positive case has been removed from Sunday’s total of 876.

Of the 901 positive cases, 43 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County and three are in hospitals outside the county.

The data also indicates Oneida County has 367 active positive cases and that 493 positive cases have been resolved.

In addition, health-care workers have conducted 7,905 tests, with 70 results pending and 6,934 negative results.

The county also reports 972 patients are under mandatory quarantine; 839 are under precautionary quarantine; and 9,603 have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine, per Oneida County’s Monday email.
