UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County announced on Friday that it will cease testing at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, Turning Stone Resort Casino, and Utica National Insurance Group in New Hartford effective Sunday Jan. 30 due to lack of demand.

The county added the Turning Stone and Utica National testing sites earlier this month to supplement the Griffiss site.

Going forward, free COVID-19 testing is available at Oneida County health clinics on Mondays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. at 406 Elizabeth St., Utica, and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. at 300 W. Dominick St., Rome. People can make appointments online at ocgov.net/health/forms/oneida-county-free-covid-19-testing-program and walk-ins are also accepted.
