Oneida Healthcare appoints physician to board

ONEIDA — Janice Eastman Bach, M.D., has been appointed to the Oneida Healthcare board of trustees.

 

Bach has practiced at Child Health Associates since 2003 and serves on the Oneida Healthcare Pediatric Medicine medical staff. A native of Oneida, she graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and completed her pediatric residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Bach is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

 

Bach has been instrumental in the implementation of Oneida Healthcare’s Meditech system, according to the hospital.

“In her role as co-chair of the Physician Advisors Group, Dr. Bach works to assure that the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record is developed in partnership with area physicians. We’re delighted and fortunate to have her serving on our governing board,” Gene F. Morreale, president and CEO of Oneida Healthcare, said in a news release.

 

Oneida Healthcare has 627 Central New York employees and posted revenue of $87 million in its most recent fiscal year, according to the 2013 Business Journal 500 publication.
