Corn currently serves as the communications chief, Directorate of Operations, Information and Intelligence Analysis for the National Security Agency. Serving in the position since October 2016, Corn is responsible for the execution of a variety of agency strategies as well as managing a yearly budget, topping $1 million.
Corn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington and her graduate degree from the National Intelligence University. Her appointment will be considered by the legislature at its May session. Her start day is expected to be May 13 and her pay will be $92,895. Corn replaces Bill Bleyle who is retiring, said Sayles.
