Onondaga County Bar Association announces new officers, board members

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Bar Association (OCBA) has announced new officers for the 2023-24 program year.

OCBA also installed new board members during its annual meeting held April 13 in the Onondaga County Legislative Chambers in the Onondaga County Courthouse in Syracuse.

Effective June 1, the officers include Martin Lynn, president; Laura Spring, president-elect; Sarah Reckess, VP; Jimmie McCurdy, treasurer; and Staci Dennis-Taylor, secretary, per the OCBA announcement.

Graeme Spicer, president for the 2022-23 program year, will serve as immediate past president for the coming year.

The OCBA membership also elected six individuals to its board of directors for a three-year term extending from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2026. They include Joseph Centra, Carly Dziekan, Kirsten Lerch Kroft, Dennis Nave, Lauren Seiter, and Katherine Stewart.

Fifth Judicial District Administrative Judge James Murphy handled the swearing-in ceremony.

Spicer thanked and acknowledged those directors whose terms conclude on May 31. They include Kevin Hunt, Brandon King, Anastasia Semel, Subhash Viswanathan, Robert Whitaker, and Danielle Fogel.
