Onondaga County COVID-19 cases hit 16-week low

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Onondaga County on Tuesday afternoon announced 41 new coronavirus cases in the last day, its lowest daily total since last Nov. 3.

The number of infections was down from 60 on Monday and 75 last Tuesday.

The number of people in the hospital in the county is down to 72, compared to 76 the day before and 93 a week ago.

The county also reported no new deaths.

“Happy to report No new Deaths today. Great Job CNY,” Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon tweeted Tuesday afternoon.
