Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon said. “The six cases are not a surprise. These are individuals that were in a quarantine situation that went through testing. Again, we anticipate higher percentages of folks who are in quarantines to then test positive overall.”
McMahon announced the figures during a Sunday afternoon briefing at the Oncenter.
McMahon also broke down the geographic locations where the affected patients are living. They are as follows:
Syracuse – 13
Salina – 7
Clay – 6
Cicero – 4
Camillus — 3
Manlius – 3
Onondaga – 3
Lysander – 2
Pompey – 2
Skaneateles – 2
McMahon said the county has also posted a chart with the case-location data on the county’s website.
