Onondaga County warns of possible COVID-19 exposure at Sharkey’s Bar and a private party

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Health Department on Wednesday night announced that two customers at Sharkey’s Bar & Grill in Clay and one guest at a private party in Syracuse have tested positive for COVID-19.

The department is warning customers of Sharkey’s, located at 7240 Oswego Road, who were there between 4:30 and 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24.

The party took place at a private home on Boston Street in Syracuse on Saturday, Sept. 19 and the department is warning those who may have been there between 5:30 and 11 p.m. The gathering was open to the public, so the Health Department says it is unable to identify all who attended.
