ONONDAGA, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Health Department announced Tuesday that an employee at Gemelli’s Pizzeria, located at 4543 West Seneca Turnpike in the town of Onondaga, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee worked on Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 4-7 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 8 from 5-8 p.m.

Health Department investigators are in the process of identifying all close contacts of the individual and notifying them. Those who may have been exposed should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date of potential exposure, the health department said.
