Oswego Health names Leszczynski new senior director of communications

Leszczynski, a 2004 graduate of SUNY Oswego, will write and edit all written and verbal communication for the health system’s internal and external communications; serve as the public-information officer; and manage all public-relations activities, it added.

“As Oswego Health continues to grow and enhance our services to Oswego County to meet the healthcare needs of its residents, timing could not have been more perfect to bring Jamie onboard, “Jeff Coakley, executive vice president and COO, said in the news release. “Jamie has over fifteen years of experience building and leading successful, communication programs to drive the strategic goals of companies throughout various industries. She has a deep passion to help businesses grow and reach their objectives through implementing innovative, strategic marketing programs. What’s even better is she is personally vested in this community and truly cares about the wellbeing of others. We are excited to have her as part of the Oswego Health family.”

For the past nine years, Leszczynski has spent the bulk of her career as senior vice president of ABC Creative Group, an advertising agency in downtown Syracuse. While there, she was in charge of all account services, including oversight of the department that handled account management as well as media buying, social-media management, and public relations.
