PAR Springer-Miller rolls out new suite of mobile hospitality apps

NEW HARTFORD — PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc., a unit of PAR Technology Corp. (NYSE: PAR) and provider of hospitality management systems, today announced it has introduced a new suite of mobile hospitality apps.

The first component is a check-in and check-out app, called SMS Host Anywhere, developed by Glad to Have You, Inc., a Florida–based provider of mobile hospitality and guest-management products.

”SMS Host Anywhere allows for resort or hotel staff to get out from behind the front desk and operate from anywhere on the property to better serve guests at all times,” PAR Springer-Miller said in a news release.

The app is the first release on a platform that will include products for all of PAR Springer-Miller’s software, the firm said.

The curbside check-in and check-out feature of SMS Host Anywhere allows hotel/resort staff to initiate new room keys, process payments, modify reservations, search for arrivals and departures, and more, according to PAR Springer-Miller.

“We are excited to be partnering with PAR Springer-Miller Systems to deliver a world-class platform for clients using our integrated solutions,” Jason Sprenkle, co-CEO of Glad to Have You, said in the release. “…we are excited about what this partnership can do for clients and the hospitality industry in the years to come.”
