Pathfinder Bank names Cavallaro branch manager for upcoming Clay office

CLAY, N.Y. — Pathfinder Bank announced it has hired David Cavallaro as the branch manager for its new Clay office, which is slated to open in about three weeks.

Cavallaro will be tasked with developing retail and commercial business, while managing the day-to-day operations of the new branch, according to a Pathfinder Bank news release.

Cavallaro previously worked at Charter One Bank and KeyBank. He held the titles of relationship manager, assistant branch manager, and branch manager during his tenure at those banks.

“We are excited to have Dave join our team,” Robert Butkowski, VP of branch administration at Oswego–based Pathfinder, said in the release. “With his strong leadership skills and industry knowledge, including his time spent serving and understanding the Clay market, we believe he will be a tremendous asset to our organization. We look forward to watching him grow and expand our business in the Clay region with this role.”

Pathfinder Bank is investing a total of $1.6 million to develop the new 2,500-square-foot Clay branch office, located at 3775 State Route 31. It is Pathfinder’s third branch in Onondaga County. It also has six offices in its home base of Oswego County for a total of nine branches.
