People news: Ahmad joins Finger Lakes Health emergency medicine team

 

GENEVA, N.Y. — Finger Lakes Health announced that Dr. Bushra Ahmad, an emergency medicine physician, has joined the medical staffs of its Geneva General Hospital in Geneva and Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan.

She attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and completed her emergency medicine residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester.

Finger Lakes Health is a 635-bed, multi-institutional health system that says it provides a full range of acute and long-term care health services to residents of the Finger Lakes region. Acute and long-term care services are provided on three campuses located in Ontario, Seneca, and Yates counties. It offers primary care services in Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties.
