UTICA, N.Y. — Alicia Smith has joined AmeriCU Credit Union as a member–partner advisor for the Rome, Utica, Oneida, and Herkimer areas, the credit union announced.
Smith brings more than 20 years of experience and knowledge, with a focus on health and wellness, to her new position. In this role, she works with businesses, nonprofits, and local community partners to set their employees up for financial success.
“I look forward to assisting fellow community members and businesses reach their financial goals by providing education and convenient financial solutions,” she said in an AmeriCU news release. “I am excited to bring these services to my local community and help further build relationships.”
AmeriCU’s Business Partner Program is a perk offered to employees of the credit union’s business members at no cost. AmeriCU offers on-site financial-wellness seminars.
Outside of work, Smith volunteers at the Utica Food Pantry and actively participates in community outreach and collaborates with various community organizations to promote community engagement.
