ROME, N.Y. — AmeriCU Credit Union announced it has added David Brown to the AmeriCU Investment Services staff as a virtual financial advisor — serving credit-union members for their retirement and financial-planning needs.

Brown has more than seven years of experience in the investment and insurance industries. In his new role, he will cultivate and foster relationships with existing and potential credit-union members, primarily working with members virtually.

“I’m committed to enhancing the financial well-being of individuals and families throughout central and northern New York,” Brown said in a news release. “By actively listening and crafting customized strategies for members to pursue their financial goals. I will help to provide members the right financial services to live life, dream big, and pursue financial success.”

Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from SUNY Plattsburgh and is an active member of the Adirondack Young Professionals group.
