ROME, N.Y. — AmeriCU Credit Union has named Kelly Gerrard-Smith as the new manager of the credit union’s Griffiss financial center in Griffiss Business and Technology Park in Rome.

She brings more than 27 years of experience to her new role, where she supervises and administers the day-to-day operations of the financial center. Gerrard-Smith also assists members and shares her financial expertise to help them.

Gerrard-Smith attended SUNY Morrisville and SUNY Oneonta for a degree in chemistry and biology.

Residents and businesses can meet Gerrard-Smith and her team throughout December during AmeriCU’s “Let’s Connect” open house.

AmeriCU has $2.7 billion in total assets and serves more than 160,000 members in 24 counties.
