Andrew Maxwell
SALINA, N.Y. — C&S Companies, a Salina–based design and construction firm, announced it has hired Andrew Maxwell as senior program manager and innovation strategist.
Maxwell, who was a 2017 candidate for City of Syracuse mayor, comes to C&S from a career in public service and brings significant experience and expertise in government and public works projects, the firm said in a news release. He will work with C&S’s many government clients.
Maxwell is currently a visiting scholar at SUNY-ESF. He previously served as director of policy & innovation for the City of Syracuse, where he led the Office of Innovation and its innovation team. Maxwell has also been the director of the Syracuse-Onondaga County Planning Agency. As the founding director for the City of Syracuse Bureau of Planning & Sustainability, he coordinated the completion of the Syracuse Creekwalk and Connective Corridor.
Founded in 1968, C&S provides services that focus on engineering, construction, software, and architecture. C&S serves local and state government, aviation, high tech manufacturing, educational, and military clients.
