SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Barclay Damon, LLP announced the election of Courtney M. Merriman to partner.

Merriman works in the law firm’s Syracuse office and is a member of the Real Estate and Financial Institutions & Lending practice areas.

Her practice includes negotiating and handling complex real-estate transactions and financings on behalf of clients ranging from multi-national real-estate developers and public companies to small businesses and individuals.

Merriman is a member of Barclay Damon’s Women’s Forum, which fosters interaction and mentoring opportunities for the firm’s women attorneys.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College and her J.D. from the Albany Law School of Union University.
