UTICA, N.Y. — Ransford Commey, MD, has joined the MVHS bariatric surgery program as a bariatric surgeon.

 Dr. Commey previously worked at the St. Alexius Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, as a staff general surgeon.

 He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Stony Brook University and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. From there, Dr. Commey completed his general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he became chief resident.

Dr. Commey is located at the office of William A. Graber, MD, PC at 125 Business Park Drive in Utica.
