ROME, N.Y. — Bartell Machinery Systems, based in Rome, announced it has promoted Jeffrey DiOrio to VP of finance.
He joined Bartell Machinery Systems and its leadership team in 2013 as controller, reporting directly to Bartell’s president Pat Morocco. With this promotion, DiOrio will keep his current responsibilities while expanding his role to encompass more direct contract-level assignments, the company said in a news release.
DiOrio has more than 15 years of experience in business accounting and finance. Most recently, he was a divisional controller for ESCO Turbine Technologies in Chittenango, where he also served as controller and senior financial analyst. He previously spent five years working in management-level positions at United Technologies and Ernst & Young.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University.
Bartell Machinery Systems says it provides highly-engineered industrial manufacturing equipment for the tire and rubber, oil and gas, and wire and cable industries. The firm started in 1940.
