People news: Berkshire Bank names cash-management sales team leader

Berkshire Bank, which does business across New England and New York, announcedthat it has promoted Frank Tamburrino to senior VP and team leader of cash managementand treasury services.

In this role, Tamburrino will be responsible for managing sales activities for all cashmanagement services across the banks footprint, Berkshire Bank said in a news release.

Tamburrino has more than 30 years of experience in the financialservices industry. Since joining Berkshire in 2017, he served as first VP, cash management sales officer. He previously held treasury management roles at KeyBank and First Niagara Bank.

Tamburrino earned a bachelors degree in business and public management from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an associate degree in accounting from Herkimer College. A resident of New Hartford, he is an active local volunteer and in community service events, the release stated.

Berkshire Bank — a unit of Boston–based Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc., (NYSE: BHLB) — operates 16 branches in its core New York market including branches in Rome, New Hartford, Whitesboro, North Utica, West Winfield, and Ilion.
