SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Brown Duke & Fogel, P.C. announced that energy-environmental attorney Gregory M. Brown has joined the firm as a partner in its Syracuse office.
Brown enhances the firm’s energy and environmental law capabilities with his practice focus on that law segment, according to a firm news release. He has acted as lead transactional counsel and regulatory counsel on transactions for the acquisition of generating assets. Brown has represented Fortune 500 companies in the energy and financial sectors in environmental compliance matters and is a member of the Energy Bar Association’s Environmental Committee.
Brown has more than 20 years of experience as a partner at Brown & Palumbo, PLLC and prior associations with Gilberti, Stinziano, Heintz & Smith, P.C., and Weil, Gotshal & Manages, LLP, per the release.
Brown graduated from Cornell Law School and obtained his master’s degree in economics from Binghamton University.
