NORWICH, N.Y. — NBT Bank announced it has named Brian Burton manager of the bank’s Norwich office on South Broad Street. Pegi LoPresti, who formerly managed that office, has been named corporate-relations coordinator.

As branch manager, Burton oversees branch sales, customer service, and operations. LoPresti is responsible for coordinating community-engagement activities in Norwich and surrounding areas, as well as corporate-wide events.

Burton has been with NBT Bank since 2002. Most recently, he was branch manager of NBT’s office in New Berlin. Burton was previously an operations specialist for the bank.

Before joining NBT, he was general manager of the Howard Johnson Hotel in Norwich. Burton has an associate degree from Herkimer County Community College.

LoPresti joined NBT Bank in 2011 as branch manager. She was owner of KAC Creative Service, a Norwich–based advertising agency, until 2014.

Her previous positions include working as executive director at the Norwich Business Improvement District, marketing director at Blueox Corporation in Oxford, and marketing-services coordinator at Foundation Health Plan in Endwell.

LoPresti earned her associate degree from SUNY Morrisville.

NBT Bank and its parent company, NBT Bancorp (NASDAQ: NBTB), are headquartered in Norwich. NBT Bancorp had assets of $8.6 billion as of June 30.
