People news: Byrne Dairy appoints Digital Hyve’s Knauss to board

LAFAYETTE, N.Y. — Byrne Dairy Inc. announced it has appointed Jeff Knauss as a member of its board of directors.

Knauss is co-founder of the Digital Hyve, a Syracuse–based digital-marketing agency.

Byrne Dairy, in a news release, describes Knauss as an “award-winning entrepreneur” who has “devoted his career to helping businesses, both large and small, utilize the power of traditional and digital marketing to grow their sales.”

Prior to launching the Digital Hyve with business partner Jake Tanner, Knauss worked in the television advertising industry in Rochester. He was an account executive for the market’s ABC and CW television affiliates.

He later became the local sales manager at WSTM-TV (NBC), WTVH-TV (CBS), and WSTQ-TV (CW) in Syracuse, which are branded as CNY Central.

LaFayette–based Byrne Dairy is a fourth generation, family-owned producer and distributor of dairy products.
