People news: CenterState CEO announces two new employees

Andrew Jordan has joined as membership manager within the business and economic development division. He is responsible for ensuring members receive valuable support and engagement. In this new role, Jordan will identify opportunities for increased membership involvement, and support members through networking events and community involvement, per a CenterState CEO release. Most recently, he served as control clerk at the Syracuse City Hall Permit Office, where he assisted the public in obtaining various business licenses, permits, and certificates. Jordan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Bonaventure University.

Emma Spector has come aboard as GENIUS NY program coordinator. In that job, she supports the daily operations of the GENIUS NY business accelerator, including administrative reporting of program activities and outcomes, tracking the performance of GENIUS NY companies, and facilitating the delivery of programming, events, and resources. Additionally, she supports GENIUS NY program marketing, applicant recruitment, and application review, according to the release. Most recently, Spector served as a constituent service and intergovernmental affairs coordinator for the city of Syracuse, where she provided support to various constituent-facing projects, such as the implementation of SYRCityline and the City’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Board. Spector graduated from Dickinson College with a bachelor’s degree in political science, French, and francophone studies.
