People news: Chianis + Anderson Architects hires director of business development

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Chianis + Anderson Architects, PLLC recently announced that it has hired Roger V. Brown as director of business development.

In this position, he is responsible for the firm’s marketing efforts, document quality control, master and project specifications, and construction administration activities.

Brown brings a wealth of experience in engineering, project direction, and construction management, Chianis + Anderson said in a news release. His primary focus has been in the design, construction, and operation of health-care facilities in several different states.                               

“Roger’s experience, organizational skills, leadership, and depth of knowledge of the construction industry will help elevate us as a firm.” Greg A. Chianis, partner, said in the release. “We are excited to have him as part of our team.”

Brown has a civil engineering degree from Cornell University.

Chianis + Anderson Architects is an architectural and interior design firm, based in Binghamton, that was founded in 2001.
