People news: Christopher Community appoints director of property management

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Christopher Community, Inc. announced it has promoted Jordan Kline to director of property management.

In this role, Kline will provide oversight, management, and guidance to the property management portfolio at Christopher Community.

Kline was most recently a regional property manager at Christopher Community. She also has experience in military housing, market rate, Section 8, and the low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) over the past 10 years. She started as a leasing consultant and was later district manager with Millenia Housing Management prior to joining Christopher Community.

Kline has an associate degree from Jefferson Community College, and attended Le Moyne College, where she studied psychology. She is also accredited as a certified occupancy specialist, tax credit specialist, and accredited resident manager.

Since 1971, Christopher Community has developed and operated housing for low- and moderate-income families and seniors. The nonprofit currently manages more than 3,200 units of housing in more than 100 buildings and administers the Rental Assistance Program in Onondaga County, which helps more than 1,200 households. The organization serves communities across New York state, including Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Utica, Watertown, Oswego, Cortland, Elmira, Canandaigua, and more.
