ONEONTA, N.Y. — Community Bank N.A. announced it has promoted Paul F. Wood to VP, senior trust officer in Oneonta.
In his new role, Wood will assume responsibility for the bank’s Oneonta trust group, which has provided investment management, as well as trust and estate-planning services since 1922.
Wood has been with Community Bank since August 2016, when he joined as associate VP and trust officer. He previously was senior VP of trust & investor relations for the former National Bank of Delaware County.
In the community, Wood serves on the board of directors for the Community Foundation of South Central New York and as a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council for UHS Delaware Valley Hospital.
Wood earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and holds both the certified trust and financial advisor and certified financial planner designations. Wood resides in Delaware County with his wife and their four children.
