Katie Tascione
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC announced that it recently hired Katie Tascione as a senior associate in its Syracuse office.
She is part of the accounting firm’s tax department and comes to Dermody, Burke & Brown with four years of previous experience in public accounting, the firm said in a news release.
Tascione previously worked for Firley, Moran, Freer & Eassa, CPA, P.C.; PwC (Boston); and Sciarabba Walker & Co., according to past people news published by BJNN.
She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a finance concentration, from Ithaca College. Tascione also earned a master’s degree in taxation from Bentley University. She is working to complete the certification process to earn her designation as a certified public accountant (or CPA), per the release.
Dermody, Burke & Brown is a locally owned accounting and business advisory firm based in Syracuse, with additional offices in New Hartford and Auburn.
