People news: Eastup joins George Group at Baird’s Utica office

UTICA, N.Y. —Baird announced it has added Dalton Eastup as a financial advisor to the George Group, part of its Utica private wealth-management office.

Eastup focuses on individual wealth management and advanced planning for multigenerational families.

“Putting the needs of clients first has been central to Baird’s culture and heritage for over 100 years,” Scott George, managing director and George Group lead advisor, said in a news release. “We are confident that Dalton’s unique skills and perspectives will help strengthen and deepen our existing relationships and provide an even greater level of advice and service excellence for our clients.

Eastup is series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registered and also holds his life, accident, and health-insurance license. He is a graduate of the SUNY College at Brockport.

Baird — headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin — is an employee-owned wealth-management, asset-management, investment baking, capital markets, and private-equity firm with locations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The firm employs about 5,100 people and manages more than $405 billion in client assets as of June 30, 2023.
