UTICA, N.Y. — Fortus Healthcare Resources announced it has appointed Rebecca Urtz as sales manager of its travel division, Fortus Group Travel.
In her new role, Urtz will be responsible for managing the Fortus Group Travel sales team, overseeing daily recruitment activities, ongoing training and development, and setting and achieving sales goals, the firm said in a news release.
Urtz began her career at Fortus in July 2010 as a recruiting specialist, and became an account executive in November 2011. Most recently, Urtz held the position of recruiting coordinator for the travel division since 2015.
Fortus Healthcare Resources, founded in 1993, provides dialysis staffing and consulting services. In 2005, the firm formed Fortus Travel Resources, with a focus on placing dialysis and other health-care specialty nurses on short-term contracts across the nation.
