SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Gifford Foundation announced it recently elected Meg Tidd as a new member of its board of trustees.
As the chief marketing officer at VIP Structures, Tidd oversees all sales and marketing efforts for the Syracuse–based design-build firm, and most recently led VIP’s re-branding strategy.
Tidd is a graduate of the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School, where she obtained an MBA with a focus on corporate strategy and marketing. A resident of Marcellus, Tidd is a 2014 graduate of the Leadership Greater Syracuse civic-leadership training program and a member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (Upstate Chapter). In 2016, Tidd was recognized as a 40 Under Forty honoree by BizEventz and the Business Journal News Network.
The Gifford Foundation was established in 1954 as a private foundation serving Syracuse and the surrounding Central New York community. The foundation says it supports individuals and organizations through grants and initiatives.
