SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Hancock Estabrook, LLP announced that it has added Erica L. Masler as an associate attorney in the Syracuse–based law firm’s litigation department.
Masler focuses her practice in the areas of general civil litigation, commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and products liability defense, the firm said in a release. She regularly assists clients with navigating the legal process while providing practical advice to limit exposures and minimize risks.
Masler previously served as law clerk to Chief Judge Brenda K. Sannes in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to Magistrate Judge Thérèse Wiley Dancks in the Northern District of New York.
Masler received her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law, Hancock Estabrook said.
Hancock Estabrook was founded in 1889 and has continuously maintained offices in downtown Syracuse since that time. The firm also has an office in Ithaca. Hancock Estabrook provides services to corporate, small business, government, nonprofit, and individual clients across New York state.
