CLINTON, N.Y. — Amanda Hartnett has joined Indium Corporation as product manager for engineered solder materials (ESM).

In her new role, Hartnett pursues market opportunities for ESM products and promotes the company’s thermal interface material (TIM) products. She also plays a key role in the ongoing management of key customer relationships.

Hartnett previously worked as an applications engineer at Indium from 2006 to 2013. Since then, she has worked as a science teacher with the Remsen and Sauquoit Valley school districts.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Utica University and an MBA from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Hartnett is a certified New York State Master Teacher and a Lean Six Sigma green belt.

Indium, based in Clinton, is a global materials refiner, smelter, manufacturer, and supplier to the electronics, semiconductor, thin-film, and thermal-management markets.
