HERKIMER, N.Y. — Herkimer County Community College has appointed Joshua J. Lanza as Academic Support Center specialist.

Lanza, a 2012 graduate of the college, previously served as technical assistant for the center as well as an adjunct instructor and head coach of the college’s esports team. Prior to joining Herkimer College, Lanza previously worked for St. Lawrence University as esports coordinator, where he was responsible for recruiting and managing the esports team.

Lanza received his associate degree in music industry from Herkimer College, a bachelor’s degree in English from Utica University, and a master’s degree in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
