People news: Housing Visions hires Creighton as marketing manager

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc. — a nonprofit development, construction, and property management company focusing on affordable housing — announced it has hired Jennifer Creighton as its marketing manager.

Creighton, a Syracuse resident, will oversee the overall marketing and communications strategies to “further accelerate the growth of Housing Visions,” the organization said in a news release.

“As Housing Visions grows, we are eager to have Jennifer help us build awareness about affordable housing, promote our mission, strengthen the Housing Visions brand and deepen community relations. Her upbeat personality, knowledge and professionalism will represent Housing Visions well,” Kenyon Craig, president and CEO, said in the release.

Creighton comes to Housing Visions from F.O.C.U.S. Greater Syracuse, where she was program director and communications manager for the nonprofit civic-engagement organization.

Creighton serves on the United Way of Central New York’s Young Leaders United Steering Committee, and also on the WISE Women’s Business Center’s Advisory Board. She was one of the honorees in the 2014 40 Under Forty program put on by the Business Journal News Network and BizEventz.
